Sunday's Obituary: Lynn

Alexandria Gazette (Alexandria, Va) – May 26, 1830 -- Departed this life the 19th inst. in the 48th year of her age, after a severe and long affliction, which she bore with Christian fortitude, Mrs. Sarah A. Lynn, consort of Capt. Joseph R. Lynn, of Fairview, Prince William county Virginia.  In her death her husband lost a dear companion and her children a tender and affectionate mother, and the Baptist Church a worthy member.

Alexandria Gazette – September 20, 1869 -- DIED.  At Gordonsville, August 30th, 1869, Lucian Ashby, son of Milton and Mary F. Lynn, aged 1 year, 11 months and 4 days.  “Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Richmond Times Dispatch (Richmond, Va) – July 23, 1908 -- Warrenton, Va., July 22 – Mrs. Ann M. Lynn, aged eighty-eight, died here last night at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. S. W. Maphis.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. S. J. Conway, and three sons, Rev. Frank A. Strother, A. W. Strother, of this place, and Henry H. Lynn, of Prince William, the latter a stepson.
